

– Bike maintenance days/nights with FWTN-B mechanics paid to help members work on their bikes and gain independence and confidence with those skills.
– A trail maintenance volunteer group to support local trails.
– A consistent schedule of group rides that provide opportunity for a variety of skills development and for making friends and building community.
– Outreach to BIPOC bike programming to create a safe space for FWTN-B folks of color to build community and connect with bikes.
– More skills clinics utilizing local coaching talent and supporting no- cost or low-cost opportunities for members to enroll in clinics around the PNW.
– An inventory of shared bike resources that can be lent out to those who are trying to get into the sport but cannot afford it yet: Loaner bikes, shoes, racks, bike tools.
– Trail building tools for anyone to share/utilize.
– A race for FWTN-B folks in the area that’s focused on community and pushing yourself individually.
– Finding someone who is willing to let us experiment/learn/practice trail building techniques on their property. Building our own jump lines/rut tracks/practice zones/etc.
